The Church Upon the Rock 2011 Couples Retreat was held on April 29 and 30 at the Carlisle Inn in Sugarcreek, Ohio. It was a fantastic weekend! Friday evening began with an enjoyable (and filling) Amish family style banquet. The rest of the evening belonged to the couples to enjoy each other and the many hotel ammenities. On Saturday, following a continental breakfast, Pastor Bill Mitchell of Abuntant Grace Minisries presented two dynamic sessions entitled “Redemptive Order: Beauty Restored – A View of Marriage East of Eden.” A soup and salad lunch served as intermission.
We’re looking forward to doing it all again next year on April 20 and 21 once again at the Carlisle Inn. Couples, make sure to mark your calendars for another relaxing and encouraging weekend.
